“PacMan” Pacquiao defeats Diaz for a knock-out blow in Round 9.  Pacquiao, who has already won titles at flyweight, super-bantamweight, featherweight and super-featherweight, entered the bout against Diaz having won his last seven fights since losing to Erik Morales in March 2005.

Just early in round 2 of the fight, Diaz’s nose has already been bleeding. And in round 4, followed Diaz’s right eye also had a huge cut from Pacquiao’s left hook.

Pacquiao won USD $3M for this fight, plus the endorsements and Pay-Per-View. Now, Pacquiao holds four titles and is the first Filipino to hold 4 titles altogether. He is also the first Filipino to ever win WBC lightweight title.
